PICU RN Job in Harlingen, TX

Valley Baptist MC in Harlingen, TX is seeking an RN for our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 15, 2026, with three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,384.64 weekly.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned pediatric patients on each shift
• Coordinate and manage unit-level patient care activities
• Delegate appropriate care tasks and supervise assigned staff
• Maintain clinical competency standards for staff under your supervision
• Manage patient care resources effectively and efficiently
• Partner with facility leadership to uphold high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care standards

You will work in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting, where you'll provide specialized care to critically ill children and support their families during challenging times. Your clinical judgment and leadership will be essential to our unit's daily operations.

Requirements:

• RN licensure in Texas
• Professional experience in pediatric critical care preferred
• Willingness to wear royal blue scrubs
