Ultrasound Technologist Job in Terrytown, LA

Ochsner Medical Center - West Bank is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work day shifts in a vascular ultrasound specialty, serving adult patients in a structured outpatient or diagnostic imaging environment.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 4x10 days, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Location: Terrytown, LA (Ochsner Medical Center - West Bank)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,621

Position Overview

You will perform vascular ultrasound studies with an average daily census of 10 patients and approximately 5 visits per day. There is no call requirement and no weekend shifts—predictable day hours allow for work-life balance during your assignment.

Required Experience & Credentials

• 2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound specialty
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• First-time travelers are welcome

Preferred Certifications

• ARDMS
• ARDMS RVT
• CCI RVS
• RDCS - RVT

Required Technical Skills

You must demonstrate proficiency in: Abdominal Aorta, Aorta, Arterial Graft Studies, Carotid, Color Flow, Dialysis Grafts, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial, Lower Extremity Venous, Peripheral Vascular Resistance, Renal Artery Duplex, Stents, Upper Extremity Arterial, and Upper Extremity Venous imaging.
