<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be specified on submission)<br>• 13-week assignment length<br>• Weekend hours as required by facility<br>• No call requirements<br>• Float on a rotational basis to other units<br>• Patient ratios vary: Days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7<br>• Work with 24-bed telemetry unit caring for medical, medical telemetry, and observation patients<br>• Equipment includes telemetry monitoring, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps<br>• Electronic medical record system: EPIC<br>• Required certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (may obtain prior to start)<br>• 1 year telemetry experience required (inpatient only)<br>• Experience and competence in drug titration required<br>• Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure<br>• Dress code: Black scrubs only<br>• Night shift orients on day shift and must be available entire first week<br>• Provides direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation<br>• Coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments<br>• Maintains professional accountability and patient confidentiality<br>• Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center and Level 2 Stroke Center that has earned an A grade in The Leapfrog Group&#39;s Hospital Safety Grade.
