RN - EP Lab

Job Details:

• Work in a busy electrophysiology lab performing 6-12 procedures daily across 4 procedure rooms
• Late shifts required with no on-call responsibilities
• Self-scheduling type
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Must have electrophysiology experience with implants, complex ablations, LAAO, cardioversions, tilt table, and TEE procedures
• Circulate and scrub procedures required
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Work with specialized equipment including Biosense Webster Carto, Siemens SC200 ultrasound, Sonosite ultrasound, Siemens P500 ultrasound, Medtronic cryotherapy, GE CardioLab, GE biplane and single plane X-Ray, and Baylis RF
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation
• Serve as a referral center for complex patients with anesthesia coverage for 95% of procedures
• Candidates will float within scope if needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Virginia or compact state license required
• Natural nail policy in effect
• Up to two pre-approved time off periods allowed
