About this role

St John Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a 90-day travel assignment. You'll work the night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, earning $2,059.20 weekly.

Your Role

You'll function as a Multimodality Technologist I, providing diagnostic imaging services across multiple radiology modalities. Your responsibilities include:

  • Independently operate imaging equipment and perform diagnostic examinations using multiple modalities
  • Demonstrate competency in patient and technical imaging skills while maintaining the highest standards of care
  • Provide age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics
  • Follow hospital and department guidelines for patient identification and safety, including ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely protocols
  • Perform equipment quality control and accurately record all database and log records
  • Maintain daily operations of the assigned department, including patient scheduling, equipment maintenance, and quality assessment
  • Report equipment failures and maintain compliance with state and federal agencies
  • Use administrative skills to enter and complete correct billing codes in the RIS
  • Work independently and demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks

What We Need From You

  • Allied Health Professional credential with Associate's Degree or completion of an accredited 2-year program in Radiologic Technology
  • Current Ohio state license
  • Active BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS certification in at least one modality
  • Minimum 1+ years experience in your first radiology modality
  • Completion of second modality orientation preferred
  • Ability to work independently and maintain licensure and continuing education

Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. You'll need constant eye, hand, and foot coordination to operate imaging equipment safely and effectively.
