Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work in a 25-bed Progressive Care Unit with 1:5 patient ratios
• Minimum 4 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule period
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Float to MSI units as needed between departments, units, and facilities
• No on-call requirements
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
• 2 years of nursing experience and community hospital experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, CPI preferred
• Must have Missouri and Kansas nursing licenses or compact licensure
• Navy scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Free parking provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including AMI, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, chest pain, sepsis, pneumonia, and post-catheterization patients
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, central line care, chest tube management, wound care, and tracheostomy management
• Maximum 7 days request time off allowed
• 2 references required from past year
• Must complete EPIC training modules and infusion pump training prior to start date
