ED RN Job in Great Barrington, MA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington, MA. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of September 21, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, exercising independent judgment under the general guidance of the department director. You will manage triage, cardiac monitoring, and other ED responsibilities while demonstrating critical thinking and emotional stability. Time management, communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills are essential to success in this role.

Schedule and Expectations

• 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required as needed, with willingness to work two blocks of: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Own vehicle required
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at time of upload; maximum 5 days of RTO accepted

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN License
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications
• Emergency Department skills checklist current to 1 year
• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Room experience
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• ED Triage and Cardiac Room experience (will receive first consideration)
• IV Certification
• Meditech Expanse experience
• ENPC and CEN certifications
• BSN degree

Compensation and Details

Weekly pay is $2,450. Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable.
