Physical Therapist Job in Detroit, MI

You will provide direct physical therapy services to patients at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, delivering evidence-based care across a range of conditions and functional limitations. Your role centers on patient assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention to help patients regain mobility and independence.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and administer appropriate tests to assess patient conditions
• Develop realistic functional goals in collaboration with patients and their families
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using proper therapeutic modalities and procedures
• Apply clinical expertise in assessment and treatment planning, demonstrating knowledge of indications and contraindications
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve measurable therapeutic outcomes
• Maintain professional standards and documentation in all aspects of patient care delivery
