Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Dubuque, IA

You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 14, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,145.

Schedule and Shift Details

• 4x10 day shifts with start times between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM, or 11:00 AM and 9:30 PM
• One weeknight on-call per week, extending from end of shift until 7:00 AM
• Weekend on-call coverage every fourth weekend, from end of Friday shift through Monday 7:00 AM
• Holiday coverage includes either scheduled shifts or on-call duties based on holiday rotation
• Labor Day coverage is included in contract requirements
• Hours may vary based on surgical schedule and facility needs

Core Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during operative procedures
• Maintain the sterile field throughout surgical cases
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments
• Support surgeons and nursing staff during all phases of surgical cases

This position requires flexibility with scheduling, including on-call duties and holiday rotation participation. You will be part of a surgical team in a hospital setting where patient care and procedural excellence are priorities. Your credential as a Certified Surgical Technologist is required for this role.
