Respiratory Therapist Job in Washington, MO

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026. You will work day shift on a 3x12-hour schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Your Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate therapeutic gas administration apparatus and mechanical ventilators
• Provide emergency care including external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and assistance with cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Maintain charts containing patient identification and therapy information
• Float as needed to support unit operations

Required Qualifications:

• Current RCP license in state of practice
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• 1+ years of respiratory therapy experience
• Respiratory care, emergency care, and intensive care experience
• Strong knowledge of pulmonary function and pulmonary rehabilitation
• Experience with respiratory equipment

Weekly pay is $1,971. This is a day shift role with no on-call obligations, allowing you to maintain consistent schedule predictability throughout your assignment.
