Med/Surg RN Job in Havre, MT

Northern Montana Health Center is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a med/surg position serving both pediatric and adult patient populations. This is a rotating shift role based in Havre, MT, with a contract duration of 91 days starting July 22, 2026.

Your Role

You will serve as a self-motivated, professional RN and resource person on the med/surg unit. You will be accountable for planning, directing, and evaluating patient care across mixed-age populations. Your clinical responsibilities include providing direct nursing care, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring quality outcomes for patients under your care.

What You'll Do

• Plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in a med/surg setting
• Provide nursing care for both pediatric and adult patients
• Work independently and demonstrate strong clinical decision-making skills
• Serve as a resource person to nursing and support staff
• Apply knowledge relative to the ages served in med/surg environments

What We're Looking For

You hold a current RN license and bring knowledge and experience working with both pediatric and adult patient populations in a med/surg setting. You are self-directed, capable of independent practice, and possess solid clinical judgment. You communicate effectively and work collaboratively within the healthcare team.
