Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 4x10-hour shifts with a rotating day off
• Normal hours are Monday through Friday
• On-call coverage required on weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to respond and arrive in the Cath Lab within 30 minutes when on call
• Ability to work flexible hours, including flexibility with daily starting and ending times
• Overtime is typical
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist required
• Previous experience in Cardiac, ECG interpretation, or special procedures required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Must not reside within 50 miles of facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Required certifications: ARRT, Arkansas Department of Health Radiology License, BLS, and ACLS
• Perform radiologic services for all patients in the Cath Lab setting
• Perform and assist with procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, PCIs, PTCAs, TAVR, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion, fluoroscopy, embolization, angioplasty, stent placement, and vascular closure
• Perform EKG lead placement, hemodynamic monitoring, and interpretation of dysrhythmias including recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Maintain sterile field and scrub procedures
• Work with Philips and Siemens equipment
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist for up to 8 to 12 hours per shift
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more of equipment occasionally and push wheelchairs with patients exceeding 150 pounds
• Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations including CPR
