Special Procedures Technologist in Edgewood, KY

You'll work as a Special Procedures Technologist in the Interventional Radiology department at Saint Elizabeth Edgewood, performing a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Location

• 4x10 hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with call requirements
• Primary assignment at Edgewood with potential floating to Florence and Fort Thomas facilities as needed
• Approximately 8 procedures daily

Your Role

You will scrub for and assist with interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, venograms, PICC line placements, port placements, vertebroplasty, GI bleed interventions, embolizations, biliary tube exchanges, nephrostomy procedures, IVUS, fistulagrams, transjugular biopsies, IVC filter removals, and thrombectomy for neuro cases. You'll provide direct patient care for adult and geriatric populations and work with specialized equipment including EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti systems.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Current ARRT certification and BLS certification
• Kentucky KBMIRT license (can be pending upon submittal)
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience
• Epic charting system experience
