Radiation Therapist Job in Keene, NH

Cheshire Medical Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Keene, NH. You will work 4x10 shifts on day hours, earning $3,225.60 per week. Your start date is July 6, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation treatments and monitor patients and control panels during treatment
• Prepare patients in exam rooms and assist the Radiation Oncologist with medical examinations
• Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for treatments and simulations
• Inject dye into patient skin as markers with appropriate training and skills demonstration
• Administer contrast media retrograde into urinary bladder during simulation as needed
• Perform equipment calibration as prescribed by the Radiation Safety Officer
• Observe radiation safety measures for patients and personnel
• Record patient doses, gather confidential patient history, and document patient reactions
• Update patient examination history files and maintain daily log books
• Complete scheduling, consultation, and billing procedures
• Provide weekend coverage and holiday coverage as needed
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities as determined

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years current radiation therapy experience
• Oncology experience required
• VARIAN TRUEBEAM experience required
• ARIA (Treatment Record and Management) experience required
• NH MIRT license in-hand or willingness to follow temporary license process
• ARRT certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
• Own vehicle for transportation
• Previous travel healthcare experience highly preferred

You will work independently under the administrative direction of the Chief Therapist and clinical direction of the Radiation Oncologist.
