Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all patient care areas including ED and general care areas
• May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations with advance notice
• Provide emergency services for Rapid Response and Code Blue
• Basic respiratory care, critical care, and ventilator management
• Patient assessment with assess and treat protocols for all age groups
• Use equipment including V60 BIPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1, and ISTAT
• Document in Epic charting system
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or ARC), NBRC RRT or CRT (RRT must be obtained within one year if starting with CRT)
• Advanced NRP preferred but not required
• Active Wisconsin license required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Minimum 3+ years experience with pediatric experience required
• NICU experience preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Dress code: closed-toe shoes, scrubs any color, clean appearance, no smoking or scent allowed
• Subject to low census hours and on-call requirements
