Mammography Technologist Job in Arlington, VA

Virginia Hospital Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Arlington, VA. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, performing a range of mammographic procedures in a collaborative radiology environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform 3D, screening, and diagnostic mammograms using digital mammography equipment
• Operate Hologic 3D technology with proficiency
• Conduct DEXA scans (preferred experience)
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Document patient care and imaging results in Epic electronic health record system
• Collaborate within the radiology interdisciplinary team

Required Qualifications:

• Allied Health Professional credential or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
• ARRT registry in Mammography
• Virginia Board of Medicine (BOM) license — must have license in hand or provide proof of application at submission
• BLS certification
• Digital mammography and Hologic 3D experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• DEXA imaging experience
• Prior Epic charting system experience

What to Expect:

All traveling professionals are required to attend either an accelerated or 2-day Epic orientation class to ensure smooth transition into the facility's workflow. You will be integrated into an established radiology team that values collaboration and quality patient care.

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: August 17, 2026
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Weekly pay: $2,822.40
