ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts on a variable day/night schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time position with day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts required
• ICU setting requiring care for patients across all age groups including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA/RQI only), and NIHSS
• Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months
• CPI certification required within 90 days
• TNCC and Emergency Nurses Association certification recommended within 2 years
• New York State RN license required
• Must demonstrate ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required
• Computer literacy required with experience in Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records preferred
• Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to a spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling
