Wound Care RN Job in Gardena, CA

Kindred Hospital South Bay is seeking an RN with wound care expertise to join our clinical team in Gardena, California. This is a full-time travel position running 84 days, beginning September 28, 2026.

Position Details

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 schedule)
• Weekly pay: $2,528
• Facility: Kindred Hospital South Bay

Your Role

You will provide direct nursing care to wound and ostomy care patients, applying the Nursing Process in accordance with California's Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care using critical thinking and scientific judgment
• Demonstrate clinical leadership in anticipating and planning patient care needs
• Delegate patient care priorities to assigned personnel based on their education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of staff delivering direct patient care
• Maintain and advance clinical competencies through continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based wound care RN experience
• CWOCN (Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse) certification—must be attached to your submission packet
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
