<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>CT Technologist - CT Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work night shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• Take call minimum of every other weekend<br>• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs<br>• Must be dependable, accountable, and cooperative<br>• Perform wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative<br>• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures<br>• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history<br>• Administer contrast media following established procedures<br>• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results<br>• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment<br>• Maintain competency with venipuncture and power injection operation<br>• Demonstrate sterile technique and pre/post procedural care<br>• Adjust technique to ensure lowest possible radiation dose while maintaining image quality<br>• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS<br>• Minimum 1 year experience in radiology required<br>• Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred<br>• Must be competent in all aspects of CT, patient positioning, and radiation protection<br>• Ability to operate all workstations associated with CT department<br>• Must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills<br>• Ability to function independently under pressure while participating in team environment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive radiology department with advanced CT imaging capabilities and emergency services.
