PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Variable shifts ranging from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• Night shift call begins at 7:00 PM
• 4 call shifts required per 4-week scheduling period (either 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM each count as 1 call shift)
• Weekend call shifts required; operating rooms are closed on weekends
• Call coverage Monday through Friday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• Work within an 11-bay PACU unit with 6 operating rooms
• Perform care for patients undergoing orthopedic, gynecological, ENT, and general surgery procedures
• Utilize Epic EMR system
• Use standard PACU equipment
• At least 1 year of PACU, ICU, or ER experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs, hospital issued
• Must be a team player, self-motivated, and drama free
