CT Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for weekday overnight shifts. You'll work Monday through Thursday nights from 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM EST on a 10-hour shift schedule. This is an 89-week travel assignment starting June 22, 2026, with a weekly pay of $3,289.

Your responsibilities include:

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging services
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures
• Position patients appropriately, including safe patient handling techniques for patients with limited mobility
• Maintain accurate patient record keeping by documenting all necessary components within EPIC
• Properly identify images and ensure images are sent to PACS system correctly upon exam completion
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility environment
• Respond to on-call, callback, and holiday coverage per unit needs

Required qualifications:

• Completion of formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT certification
• NYS licensure (must be obtained prior to starting)
• Two years of experience with Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Minimum 6 months of Siemens Scanner experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Patient and compassionate disposition
• Team player capability

Preferred qualifications:

• Injection certification or willingness to complete during orientation
• Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment
• Epic experience with minimum 1 year
