Mammography Technologist Job in Reno, Nevada

Renown South Meadows Medical Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 1, 2026. You will produce diagnostic mammograms and support radiologists and referring physicians in mammographic procedures while maintaining the highest standards of image quality and patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Produce diagnostic mammograms and assist radiologists and referring physicians with mammographic procedures
• Make technical decisions to ensure optimal mammographic image quality
• Provide appropriate care to adult and geriatric patients
• Maintain proficiency with mammography equipment and hospital and department computer systems
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining quality standards
• May float to other areas of the organization up to your competency level

Schedule and Expectations:

• 40-hour work week with guaranteed hours
• No on-call requirements
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
• Required to work 2 or 3 major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the assignment period

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience
• ARRT certification
• Nevada State License
• BLS certification
