ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes pediatrics to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Work in general emergency department with combined adult/pediatric patients
• Use Epic and Pyxis systems
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
• Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and may float to Main Campus at Columbus Midtown
• No call requirements
• Holiday work expectations based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, IV vasopressors, phlebotomy, procedural sedation, and IV management
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission
