Wound Care RN Job in Philadelphia, PA

Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia is seeking a Registered Nurse with specialized wound care expertise for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 5x8 day shifts with no weekend requirement and no floating between units, giving you schedule stability and focused clinical work.

Role Overview:

As a Wound Care RN, you will provide direct patient care and wound care consultation across a daily census of 350 patients. Your responsibilities include pressure ulcer assessment and management, wound vac therapy, ostomy care, infection control, patient and family education, and application of various wound care products and techniques.

Key Requirements:

• Current RN license (PA or Compact) at time of submission
• 3–5 years of nursing experience
• Experience as a wound care consultant or educator
• WOCN or WCC certification required (pending certification accepted)
• BLS certification
• Pass/Fail exam completion (3 attempts maximum)
• PA fingerprints and Childline clearance
• Lab work completion within 48 hours of signing

Patient Population:

You will work with adult and geriatric patients. Trauma Level I experience is preferred. First-time travelers are welcomed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Trauma Level I facility background
