PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call requirement includes nights, weekends, and holidays; typically one night per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius; local candidates are not accepted
• May be required to float to units with similar or lower acuity levels as needed
• One year of main hospital PACU experience required
• Pediatric experience in the operating room required
• Charting experience in Meditech highly preferred
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Responsible for managing patient airways, pain levels, vital signs, and other postoperative needs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI
• NC or compact nursing license required
