SLP Job in Lancaster, TX

Avir at Lancaster, a long-term care facility, is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 91-day assignment. You will work day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no on-call or weekend responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities in residents
• Apply techniques to decrease aspiration risk and promote safe eating and drinking
• Design communication treatment plans that help residents express themselves more effectively and improve their ability to understand others
• Lead and direct the delivery of speech language pathology services within the facility
• Ensure all services comply with local, state, and federal regulations, facility standards, and established policies
• Provide appropriate, resident-centered care and services

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
• Valid Texas state license
• Therapy degree

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: July 13, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,505.60
• No on-call duties
• No weekend work
