ED RN Job in St Johnsbury, VT

Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital is seeking an RN for its Emergency Department on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work 3x12 night shifts, earning $2,233.80 per week.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care in a nine-bed emergency department that treats over 15,000 patients annually. Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering care in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Evaluating patient outcomes and adjusting nursing care processes as needed
• Collaborating with other specialties to optimize patient care
• Coordinating medical and nursing management of care
• Working effectively under pressure as part of the health team

Requirements

• Current Vermont RN license or compact multi-state RN license
• Minimum 3 years emergency room RN experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech or ability to learn quickly

Assignment Details

Your assignment begins June 9, 2026, with travelers starting on Wednesdays. During orientation week, those on 48-hour contracts will be guaranteed 36 hours due to the midweek start. You must be a quick learner and a proactive team member who communicates well across departments.

Credentialing must be uploaded no later than five business days before your start date.
