ED RN Job in Miami, FL

Join Jackson Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, on nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), providing direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced adult emergency setting.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care in a 121-bed adult ED with 60 exam rooms, 4 resuscitation bays, 6 triage areas, and 12 fast-track beds
• Manage admission work for boarded patients
• Provide care in the pediatric ER (30-bed capacity) when needed
• Work every other weekend or alternating weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Float within the health system as required

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Prior travel experience in a Level 1 trauma facility
• Current Florida or Compact state nursing license
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
• Must pass EKG exam during orientation

Facility Resources:

You'll have access to a full onsite radiology suite including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound imaging, plus an onsite pharmacy stocked with critical medications to support rapid patient care.
