Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work with equipment including Drager, Jet, and Oscillator ventilators
• Treat patients of all ages with a primary focus on adults and NICU patients
• Scrubs required: any color solid tops and bottoms
• Float across different units throughout the hospital as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekends scheduled as needed
• Minimum 24 months of RRT/Respiratory experience in a hospital setting required
• Minimum 36 months of current RRT/Respiratory Therapy experience reflected in work history required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• NICU experience within the last 18 months required
• Level III NICU experience within the last 15 months required
• Jet ventilator experience required
• Drager ventilator experience required
• Oscillator ventilator experience required
• Must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months (no first-time travelers)
• Iowa Respiratory license highly preferred; licensing candidates accepted with 1-3 week turnaround time
• Skills checklist specific to Respiratory Therapy required
• Professional reference from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the past 24 months preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA), NRP, NBRC
• All certifications must be active
• Valid driver's license required
