Med Surg RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

Berkshire Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for a 91-day travel assignment in medical surgical nursing. You'll work the night shift on a 3x12 schedule, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Role Details

• Medical surgical units with 20 to 34 beds depending on assignment
• Patient ratio typically 1:6
• Willingness to float to any medical surgical unit required
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation included

• Start date: July 6, 2026
• Duration: 91 days
• Weekly pay: $2,384.64

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• 2 years current medical surgical experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• BLS (AHA), NIHSS, and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Personal scrubs of any color required for dress code

Additional Information

• You must have your own vehicle for the assignment
• Residency more than 50 miles from the facility required
• Availability for two holidays (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day and surrounding days) required
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off accepted
