Telemetry RN Job in Antioch, CA

Sutter Health Delta Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 24-bed Telemetry unit in Antioch, California. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting August 25, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,531.09.

Schedule and Environment

• Work three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Every other weekend required; three weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Daily census of 22 with adult patient population

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (California)
• Minimum one year of Med/Tele experience; two years preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Epic charting system experience
• Community hospital experience

Clinical Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, vasoactive drip management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Competencies include: port access and management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care, chest tube management, continuous bladder irrigation, epidural analgesia, feeding tube care, heparin protocols, high-flow nasal cannula, ABG interpretation, IV insulin protocols, pacemaker management, PCA, PICC line management, phlebotomy, procedural sedation, thrombolytic agents, tracheostomy care, and wound care/wound vac
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred

Responsibilities

You will provide direct patient care, including assessment, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care. You will develop and implement individualized plans of care incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. Patient and family education, care coordination, and transitions of care are core to this role.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.
