Opportunity:

RN - Orthopedics

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend coverage required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No call responsibilities
• Float required as needed to other units
• Must work Charge RN shifts as needed
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Charge RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Care for adult and geriatric orthopedic patients as well as medical surgical patients
• Patient ratio experience of 5-6 patients required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (2-4 hours average)
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Work with special equipment including CPMs, Buck's Traction, neck and back braces
• Handle high volume surgical procedures, moderate volume joint replacements and fracture repairs
• Provide care for ED patients with high acuity when needed
