CT Technologist Job in Marietta, GA

Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia is hiring a CT Technologist for day shifts. This is a 91-day travel position starting June 1, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,368.

Schedule and Expectations

• Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Schedule based on unit needs with flexible hours to meet department demands
• Must work 2 major and 2 minor holidays
• Call coverage required as needed

Your Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and technical procedures requiring independent judgment
• Set up equipment and position patients correctly for imaging procedures
• Verify patient identity using 2 unique identifiers before each scan
• Administer contrast media following established protocols
• Review CT images to confirm clinically acceptable results
• Transport and position patients safely throughout procedures
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and uphold infection control standards
• Participate in quality control testing and equipment calibration
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort during procedures
• Document all procedures concisely and accurately

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree
• Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology
• Minimum 1 year experience in radiology (less than 1 year CT experience preferred)
• Current certifications: BLS, ARRT Radiography, and ARRT Computed Tomography
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

You will work independently while contributing to a collaborative imaging department. Patient safety, accuracy, and professionalism are essential in this role.
