Telemetry Technician

Opportunity:

Job Details:

• 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend coverage required: 3 out of every 6 weekends
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry using GE CareScapes systems
• Communicate pertinent patient information based on observation and data collection to Registered Nurses
• Centralized telemetry monitoring covering onsite and offsite facilities across 4 sites with an average of 40 patients per shift
• Central monitoring experience for remote locations required
• Minimum 1 year of current inpatient acute hospital experience required
• 1 prior travel contract highly preferred
• Must be able to read telemetry
• EPIC charting experience required
• Certified Tele Tech preferred; BLS required (AHA or ARC certifications accepted)
• Must pass EKG test within 3 days of an accepted offer
• High school diploma required
• Scrubs: Any color
• Must be located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Low census hours may apply up to 36 unbillable hours during the contract
