CVOR Technologist Job in Winchester, VA

Join Winchester Medical Center's surgical services team as a CVOR Technologist. You'll work in a specialized cardiovascular operating room environment, supporting complex surgical cases with a focus on patient safety and surgical excellence.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4 ten-hour shifts per week, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• $2,774 per week
• 91-day contract, starting June 29, 2026
• 6–13 on-call shifts per 4-week period, including potential weekends and holidays

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct surgical tech support in a 2-bed CVOR unit with 1:1 patient ratios
• Work with specialized equipment including ECMO, MAZE, and IABP systems
• Float to vascular and thoracic cases as needed
• Float to main OR when vascular cases are unavailable
• Support adult patient population
• Document procedures in Epic EMR system

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of CVOR CST experience (5+ years preferred)
• BLS certification (AHA only)
• NBSTSA Certificate
• Virginia State License or ability to work on temporary license while permanent license is pending
• Proficiency with Word software

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with Excel
• Experience with Epic, Workday, and ShiftWizard systems
