<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Every other weekend required<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Float within scope as needed to meet facility needs<br>• 2 years of experience required with NICU and/or PICU experience mandatory<br>• Required certifications: BCLS, RRT, NRP, PALS<br>• Skills required include emergency department, level 1 trauma facility, NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics<br>• Must be experienced with servo ventilator, nitric oxide, and high frequency oscillator<br>• Competencies include aerosol setups, BiPAP/CPAP, intubation assist, mechanical ventilation weaning, and tracheostomy care<br>• Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults<br>• Daily census of 320 patients in 400-bed facility<br>• Any scrub color acceptable or facility-provided shirts/jackets<br>• EPIC charting system experience required<br>• 36-hour orientation provided<br>• Maximum 2 RTO requests allowed with no RTO during first week<br>• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This is a 400-bed children's acute care teaching hospital that provides specialized pediatric care across multiple service lines. The facility operates as a level 1 trauma center with comprehensive emergency services and advanced pediatric critical care capabilities.
