SLP Job in Walterboro, SC

Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro, SC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, five days per week, with one required weekend per month (flexible to swap a weekday). This role offers no call requirements and the opportunity to build diverse clinical experience across multiple settings.

Your Responsibilities:

• Float between the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and acute hospital floors, seeing approximately 5–6 patients on the rehab unit three to five times per week
• Manage a variable acute caseload that shifts daily based on patient needs
• Conduct outpatient modified barium swallow studies approximately once weekly (typically one or two cases)
• Perform evaluations using FEES equipment
• Document all clinical work in the Meditech system
• Collaborate with PRN speech therapists throughout the week and weekends to manage overall caseload

What You'll Need:

• Current BLS certification
• Current CCC-SLP credential
• Demonstrated experience with Modified Barium Swallow Study (MBSS)
• Prior acute hospital setting experience required
• FEES certification preferred

Additional Details:

You'll work on the 4th floor of the hospital building and are required to wear light grey scrub tops and bottoms, or black pants with an appropriate top. The assignment runs from June 8, 2026, for 91 days at $2,044 per week.
