Job Details:

• Work on a 40-bed medical-surgical/telemetry unit on the 3rd floor
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, 3 PCTs, and 1 UC
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 5 RNs, and 3 PCTs
• Work with Alaris pumps and Kangaroo pumps
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Float to medical-surgical and telemetry units as needed
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Required certifications: BLS and Texas nursing license
• Preferred certification: ACLS
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs
• Must be easy-going, friendly, and flexible
