Infusion RN Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health – Cancer Center at Wesley Long Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for their infusion oncology team in Greensboro, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, offering $2,684 weekly pay.

Schedule & Environment

• Five 8-hour shifts per week (40-hour work week) on day shift
• Hours vary: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM depending on staffing needs
• Block scheduling type with patient ratio of 1:3
• Daily census of 65–75 infusion patients across 33 rooms
• Weekend shifts required as needed but unlikely
• Potential float to other campuses within the health system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year infusion center and outpatient oncology experience required; no first-time travelers
• BLS and ONS/ONCC (Chemo) certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• ACLS and OCN certifications preferred
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred

Clinical Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy via IV push, continuous infusion, and oral routes
• Access and manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines
• Perform central line blood draws and PICC line care
• Administer blood and blood products
• Manage cytotoxic spills and special procedures including bone marrow aspirations, intravesicular chemotherapy for bladder cancer, and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with solid tumors, lymphomas, chronic leukemia, iron deficiency, myelodysplastic syndrome, and neuro-oncology diagnoses

• Cyracom interpreter machine, blood warmer, Hoyer lift, vein finder, and ultrasound-guided IV machine
