Med Surg RN Job in Flowood, MS

Merit Health River Oaks is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical unit night position. This is an 8-week travel contract starting July 27, 2026.

Position Details:

• Specialty: Medical Surgical
• Shift: 3x12 nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Patient ratio: 6:1
• Schedule includes alternating weekends
• Weekly pay: $1,841

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility

You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. The night shift offers a focused pace with lower census and closer teamwork among the evening nursing staff.
