RN - Bone Marrow Oncology

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Schedule options include four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or three 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• No night shifts available
• Subject to working weekends and/or holidays based on staffing needs
• Variable patient ratios based on patient acuities and volumes
• Work with Baxter infusion pumps
• EMR systems used: Meditech and OncoEMR
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital BMT Oncology RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Certification
• Preferred: Chemo/biotherapy certification and experience in Oncology, Hematology, and/or Transplant Cellular Therapy
• Competency in IV placement preferred
• Experience in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and Cellular Therapy administration preferred
• Experience with blood products, antibiotic, IVIG, and IVF administration preferred
• Experience with immunocompromised patients preferred
• Administer infusions including IVIG, blood products, Albumin/Lasix, electrolyte replacements, antibiotics, IV hydration, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and cellular therapy
• Perform Granix and Mozobil injection administrations for transplant/cellular therapy collections
• Provide oversight for cellular procedures after required training is completed
• Best fit candidate is a team player who is compassionate, proactive, and handles high patient volumes and acuities well
