Med Surg RN Job in Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health Charleston. You will work as a float nurse on the Medical Surgical floors, providing care to adult patients across the Main Hospital and Ashley River Tower.

Schedule & Commitment

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation required
• No on-call shifts
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage a patient ratio of 6:1 across days, nights, and weekends
• Perform isolation precautions and PPE management
• Administer oxygen via nasal cannula and oxygen tanks
• Perform non-invasive airway management
• Insert and maintain peripheral lines and IVs
• Utilize Rapid Response Teams and Code team protocols
• Chart in EPIC electronic health system

Requirements

• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification required

• Dress Code: Solid Royal Blue or White top with Royal Blue bottoms
