RN - Wound Care

Job Details:

• 3-5 years of nursing experience required
• Experience as wound care consultant/educator required
• PA or Compact License required at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, WOCN (pending certification accepted), manager will consider WCC certification
• No floating required
• No weekend requirement
• No call responsibilities
• Self-scheduling available
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
• Must complete Pass/Fail exam (3 attempts maximum)
• Scrub color requirement: ceil blue
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 350
• Work with Cerner charting system (preferred experience)
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• First time travelers accepted
• Skills include pressure ulcer assessment and management, wound vac therapy, ostomy care, infection control, patient/family teaching, and various wound care products and techniques
• Interdisciplinary support available including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
