Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

You'll provide direct patient care on our medical-surgical and telemetry units at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. This is a 90-day travel assignment running nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week on an every-other-weekend schedule.

Your responsibilities include:

• Monitor patient telemetry and respond promptly to cardiac rhythm changes
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Provide nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive patient care

Assignment details:

• You will float to all medical-surgical floors, including Ortho, Med-Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele units
• You may be assigned to the West Lakes Campus location, approximately 9.5 miles from downtown Des Moines

You'll earn $2,213.64 weekly. Assignment begins May 18, 2026.
