ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Patient ratios based on acuity; 4 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends
• Self-scheduling with block schedule available upon manager approval
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• 2+ years of emergency room experience required; first-time travelers accepted with ER experience
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (American Heart Association only)
• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVA management, general emergency department combined adult/pediatric care, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, triage, and traumatic brain injury care
