Job Details:

• Must have Epic and Stroke Thrombectomy experience - hard requirement
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Unit manages 4 rooms with an average daily census of 25 patients
• Required unit systems: Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Weekend coverage required every third weekend, no more than 2 weekends per month
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• Call is rotated among the team
• Holiday work expectations: if 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work them; if 3 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Travel experience required
• Key skills include: Interventional Radiology, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Blood Product Administration, IV infusion pumps, and End-Tidal CO2 monitoring
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
