Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work in CVOR unit with 2 operating rooms
• Day shift staffing includes 1 RN and 1 Tech
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• On-call responsibilities split and dependent on staffing
• Rotating weekends are a possibility
• Must have ACLS and BLS certifications
• 2 years current experience in acute OR setting required
• Certification not required
• Must be able to scrub and be proficient in all service lines
• Work with specialized equipment including Impella, ECMO, Bypass pump, Laser (lead extraction), EVH, and Rapid Transfuser
• Use Meditech documentation system
• Perform procedures including joint replacement, ENT, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery
• Function in all surgical specialties other than CVOR (robotics, ortho, spine, GYN)
• Must demonstrate proficient charting, multi-tasking, critical thinking skills, and excellent bedside manner
• OR scrubs provided by the unit
