Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Appleton, WI

ThedaCare - Appleton is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for their Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. This is a 16-week travel contract starting July 6, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a dynamic procedural environment while building your travel nursing portfolio.

Role Overview

You will circulate cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and structural heart procedures. Your primary responsibilities include assisting with diagnostic and interventional cases, managing equipment and supplies, coordinating with the procedural team, and ensuring patient safety throughout each case. You may also float to other ThedaCare facilities within your skillset, including ThedaCare Neenah Specials Department.

Schedule and Compensation

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (variable day shifts with 0630 and 0730 start times)
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly pay: $3,168
• Open to 10-hour shifts if preferred
• On-call minimum once per week with 30-minute response time; weekends and holidays on-call as needed

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• Associate Degree or Certificate in nursing
• Minimum 3+ years of nursing experience
• At least one completed travel nursing contract required (no new travelers)
• Previous travel experience required
