Occupational Therapist

Opportunity:

OT - Therapy Rehab Inpatient

Job Details:

• 5x8 day shift schedule, typically 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday through Saturday schedule preferred; Monday through Friday candidates considered if willing to work one to two Saturdays per month and flex a weekday off
• One weekend day required per month
• 40 hours per week
• Float required as needed
• 3 years of occupational therapy experience required
• Must have completed a minimum of 1 prior travel assignment
• Maryland OT license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, MD OT License
• Experience in fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation setting required
• Experience treating stroke, spinal cord injury, amputee, and general rehabilitation populations required
• Work within a CARF-accredited rehabilitation program
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patients are required to receive at least 3 hours of therapy, 5 out of 7 days per week
• Patient diagnoses include CVA, SCI, amputee, and general debility
• Cerner/MedConnect experience preferred
• Any scrub color accepted except the nursing blue/white combination
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
