Respiratory Therapist Job in Lansing, MI

Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week, including every third weekend. There are no on-call responsibilities and no floating required.

Position Requirements:

• 2+ years of critical care experience in both pediatric and adult settings
• Direct experience in PICU or Emergency Department
• Not open to first-time travelers
• State respiratory therapy license, BCLS by AHA, ACLS, and CRTT required
• Epic charting system proficiency
• High school diploma or equivalent

Clinical Skills and Experience:

• Airway management, medication administration, and ventilator management
• O2 therapy, suctioning, pulmonary toileting, nebulizer, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Hands-on experience with Servo I and Hamilton G5 ventilators
• Polysomnography and sleep studies with O2 saturation monitoring
• Care for patients across all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Proven experience in Emergency Room and Adult ICU settings

• Pre-start modules required (non-billable, approximately 5 hours)
• Maximum 5-day RTO (Return to Origin) per contract
• Weekly pay: $1,944
• Assignment begins June 29, 2026
